Thank you to those of you who attended the shul’s general meeting and election. I am humbled by this opportunity to lead the Shaarey Zedek Board of Directors. I have been part of this community for 47 years. Yet, there is much to learn about our shul and community. With Hashem’s help, we will be able to raise the level of achdus in our shul and our broader community. I am excited about the future for our shul. I believe we all have much to gain if we work together. Our board is filled with many dynamic personalities who are committed to enhancing the shul and increasing participation in programs and education. We hope to cultivate a feeling of pride and caring in our shul.
On behalf of the new Board of Directors, I wish to thank Johnny Istrin and the previous board members for all their hard work. I look forward to working with Johnny and the current board in continuing the many programs that are offered.
