Youth Group Programming
- For our member's convenience, Youth Groups begin at 8:00 am each Shabbos during the morning services. Please encourage your children to participate in our youth program. Check the "Newsletter Schedule" tab for locations of the groups. Youth group ages:
- 2-4 years old are from 8:00am-11:30am
- 5-9 year old girls meet from 9:30-11:30
- 5-11 year old boys meet at playground at 9:30-11:30
- The Teen Minyan meets at 8:30am every Shabbos in the Ratner Chapel. Open to 6th -12th grade boys. The teens also meet in the Teichman Beis Midrash for mincha on Friday and Shabbos afternoons.
- Pirchei for Boys meets at Emek nursery Shabbos afternoon about 90 minutes before Mincha during the school year. Check the weekly newsletter in the "Newsletter Schedule" tab of valleyshul.com for this week's meeting time. All boys Pre-1st through 6th invited to attend this exciting Shabbos Program. There will be learning, prizes and food.
- Bnos for elementary school girls meets every Shabbos at Shaarey Zedek during the school year. Check the weekly newsletter in the "Newsletter Schedule" tab of valleyshul.com for this week's meeting time.
- Bnei Akiva meets most Shabbat afternoons at Shaarey Zedek during the school year. Check the "Newsletter Schedule" tab of valleyshul.com for the time and date of the next meeting.
- NCSY has an award winning and vibrant program at Shaarey Zedek. Check the NCSY corner of the weekly newsletter in the "Newsletter Schedule" tab of valleyshul.com for the latest events and contact information.
- Cub Scout Pack 613 is a shomer shabbos cub scout pack that meets the first Sunday of every month in the Shaarey Zedek Social Hall at 5:30pm for 1st-5th grade boys and their families. - Girl Scout Troop 613 is a shomer shabbos girl scout troop that meets twice a month on Sundays in the Shaarey Zedek Social Hall for girls age 5-14. Check the weekly newsletter in the "Newsletter Schedule" tab of valleyshul.com for the contact information.
- Boy Scout Troop 613 is a shomer shabbos troop that meets the first and third Sunday of every month in the Shaarey Zedek Social Hall at 7:00pm for boys 11-17 years old.
- Shaarey Zedek has a Youth Shabbos three to four times a year, where the teen boys lead the davening and Torah reading at the regular Shabbos minyans.
